The Ramos Family

Maria had her first Daisy Scout meeting last Monday. There are only six girls in the troop and only four showed up the first night (including Maria). Maria loves all of the girls in her class/troop! The girls got to color, listen to a story and start a little garden! They got to choose between planting a daisy, lettuce or basil. Maria picked basil because Bella has a dog named Basil and she thought that would be cute! The girls will take turns caring for and watching their garden grow! Hopefully it will flourish under our watch.......I'm not much of a green thumb but maybe Maria is :) Bella was bummed that she couldn't come with to the meeting and I let her know that when she's in kindergarten she can join and she seemed satisfied with that!
